Inside Information about Dachshunds in Costumes: 2

Imagining my story of a troupe of dachshunds playing dress-up in strewn-about vegetation after an autumn storm and then, with the power of magic, some becoming other dog breeds, my daughter and I had a costume session with my three dachshunds to make the book come to life.

Not to be left out, Buster was adorned in Queen Anne’s lace and had a good time in his costume here alongside Lacey in her moss and algae costume.

To make the costumes for the dachshunds, my daughter Kizzie Marie Funkhouser and her friend from Taiwan, Carlie Huang, got crafty and sketched, sewed, fitted, and glued the costumes. Watch them do it!
