Kizzie Jones was Featured Literary Artist: Art View June 2021

Kizzie Jones was a featured Literary Artist celebrating “The Art of Storytelling” at the local  clothing store, Sound Styles, during Art View Edmonds June 2021. The window display continues all month, and was part of Art Walk on June 17.

Sound Styles’ whimsical “Dog-walking Fashion” window highlights the third in Kizzie’s Tall Tales series: A Tall Tale About Dachshunds in Costumes: How More Dogs Came to Be. 

The original giclée art piece by the book’s illustrator, Scott Ward, shows a page spread from the book, called “Dogs on Parade.” The artwork will go to a lucky member of the public in a free drawing. Sign up to enter via the QR code posted in the store window or here on the website from now until July 10.

Illustrator Scott Ward and author Kizzie Jones will visit outside Sound Styles on Sunday, July 11, and announce the random drawing winner at 1 p.m.

You can purchase the book in a special limited sale at either The Edmonds Bookshop or The Neverending Bookshop — each will have 10 copies signed by the author and with illustrator Scott Ward’s unique dachshund doodle.
