Friday, March 3 at 9:15 AM at the Palladium at the Cabo Marina the TALL TALES book, How Dachshunds Came to Be” will open the Cabo San Lucas Book Fair Fel Ca’17 !
3 PM “A Tall Tale About a Dachshund & a Pelican” will be featured.
Saturday, March 4 at 9 AM both books will be featured again.
Two full days of books & book lovers! ALL are welcome
What a fabulous presentation of my book, “How Dachshunds Came to Be: A Tall Tale about a Short Long Dog” (Tall Tales) at Sudacalifornia del Libro y la Lectura 2017! Thanks to the Circus School, Sara Flores, Jeremy Le Guen, and Marie for this wonderful day. Looking forward to this afternoon and tomorrow!
Highlights from del Libro Lectura at the Pabellon Cultural Cabo San Lucas Marina. Circus School teachers: Sara Flores; Jérémy Le Guen & Marie with their two dachshunds dramatized, “How Dachshunds Came to Be.” This afternoon Professor Alfonso Winston (translator for Tall Tales) and I presented the back stories and commentary on the Tall Tales books. Including book #2, “A Tall Tale About a Dachshund & a Pelican.” Met many remarkable people.

This event has been a fantastic way to deepen our friendship with the people of Cabo, Professor Alfonso Winston, Anabella Nixania, and Hermanita de Ysabela, and Sala de Lectura!

Sara Flores & Jeremy le Guen owners/teachers of the Cabo Circus School create and present a play based on Kizzie Jones & Scott Ward’s book, Performed for the Cabo Book Fair 2017 at the Cultural Pavilion. Note the dachshunds barking & joining in the fiesta finale!
3rd Los Cabos FeLCa’17 A Tall Tale About a Dachshund & Pelican Dramatization March 4, 2017
Author and educator Anabella Barrigan Nixania presented a dramatization of Kizzie Jones’ & Scott Ward’s book, A Tall Tale About a Dachshund and a Pelican: How a Friendship Came to Be at the Los Cabos Book Fair FeLCa ’17 at the Cultural Pavilion on March 4, 2017. She sewed a costume to portray the pelican on one side (Including feathers in her hair) and the dachshund Goldie on the other side.
