4th School Reading 2020 in Los Cabos

​Arrival at Instituto Cultural Baldor with English and Spanish editions of A Tall Tale About Dachshunds in Costumes to read with the children.

It was the comments made after the reading that most touched me.
     A senior educator approached me and said,
“Dear Kizzie, it was an honor to see you again. As I told Winston and Nix, I did something good over the week and God awarded me giving me the privilege to be with you all. Your story touched my heart and, as I was listening to it I thought of “The Little Prince,” “Dr. Seuss” and “Where’s Wally?” You put them all into a blender and then you added your loving wisdom and you master piece came out. THANK YOU!”

     She went on to say, “At the end of the reading a child came up to her and said, ‘I see you’re crying.’ She asked, ‘why did you notice?’ And he replied, ‘Because I was crying too.’”

Another child came up and said, “That is the favorite book of my whole life!”
